What's better to celebrate day four of Bach Appreciacion Week if not the fact there were 4 versions of him?
(and that's not much, really, some of my older OC's got up to 10-100 versions so 4 are just the beginning!)
And you can see how my style improved during all that time...
Bachelor in M.S.E - REBORN
That's the first Bach I ever created. M.S.E was a story about Angels, Devils and Humans, and Bachelor was an Fallen Angel that followed Lucifers rebellion, but then he got second thoughts and tried to come back to Heaven... However it wasn't that easy. It costed a lot of energy to walk on Earth, and even more to get back to Heaven, and since the rebellion, he was impure. So he found a way to replenish his strength by consuming pure energy, and children had the purest kind of energy available. With his demonic powers he lured children by hypnotizing them, to steal their lifeforce. Just enough for him to survive and not too much as to kill them. It caused a series of incidents where the kids ended up in hospitals.
In the end Bach couldn't get back to Heaven as his actions brought him big trouble with Angels and then Lucifer himself killed Bach for being a traitor.
His personality back then wasn't as crazy as it was in his later alternate versions... >.>
Bachelor in Scarlet Moon
This time he has a full name - Nathaniel Bachelor, and he is a medic/doctor in the post apocalyptical world of Scarlet Moon. However he's born with a disease in which he's running out of his lifeforce energy (chi) very quickly. In that case, he either has to take a syringe of liquid chi or he can "drink" raw chi from others. (Either by a kiss or a bite) That's why he refers to his sickness as "vampiric disease". So you may say I transfered that trait from "old" Bach to the "new" Bach. He's much more edgy here than he was in his old version, and much more straightforward. In Scarlet Moon Bach is the medic of Team Acheron, and was meant more as a gag relief in the group. In the meantime he tries to find a cure for his disease.
Bachelor in Scarlet Moon Gaiden
Just recently I was told that "gaiden" means "side story" so from now on I gonna call "gaiden" all the stuff that is out of the main storyline (at least for now). In this side story Bach learned that the cause of his disease was the fact he wasn't entirely human... he was a half-demon. Born from human mother and demon father. In that case a human chi wasn't enough to please his demonic nature, that's why it burned up so quickly. After consuming demon chi (which is red) he felt much more healthy and stronger and it lasted much longer (for week instead of one day). With that he decided to leave his humanity behind and switch over to the demon side, to his father's joy. With that he became a classy Baron Bach.
Bachelor in Dungeons & Dragons
This was so random :'D Nathaniel Bachelor is a human and a wandering Bard, a rather eccentric one at that XD His singing is terrible (high pitch singing is not his speciality) he likes revealing clothes and he's rather horny :'D He teams up with 5 other guys in Team Outsiders, and since none of them has good leadership skills, he's being in the leader position. Again, he's more of a gag relief character.
I think that's all I can say in a huge summary.
