(original form - kids, temporary form - adult. The clothes design is not finalized yet)
Originally I had an idea about a "kid" homunculus, well only in shape, it's mind is as sharp as an adult.
But I had some trouble designing him, so Hai-kage lent me a hand and offered an idea of making twins, and that's how they came to be - Creed and Monique.
A rich couple had no children, and the man wanted to make a surprise for his sad wife. So he wanted to order a homunculus that would look like a child, after some pondering he decided to buy two models. (the price was as high as a standard homunculus so he had to throw a lot of cash to buy them, but eventually got the sum needed)
Skylabs put in some extra though, since it were meant to be guardian types, and guardians have to pass the security standards, the scientists equipped Creed and Moni with the ability to "grow". But not growing as to actual shapeshift, their have armor layers that optically enlarge their bodies. Think of it as a nut in a shell. They're still kids but in a well designed armor with longer limbs and neuro navigation.
Same type of armor layer was used with Hekate (body), Yatagarasu (spear) and Agamemnon (claws).
Creed has his armor compressed to look like a bagpack and Moni has two pouches on her thighs. (or a single one attached to a belt around her waist like Sanc). Since homunculi can only rearrange their face features (Curricilum, Antone, BJ), the twins use that ability for their faces to appear older when growing.
This feature was added so that if there's danger, kid body won't be efficient enough to protect their owner, but an adult one, in fact well armored body will be much more useful.
As for the weapons of choice Moni has dual scythes and Creed a pair of rapiers. (more on their abilities later)
Their armors represent a devil and an angel respectively (Moni the devil and Creed the angel)
And guess who programmed Creed? Jun!

The twins were meant to keep company to the "parents", making their mansion more lively. Even with adult minds, they pretend to be kids. The lady dresses Moni in all kind of pretty frilly skirts and the man enjoys sharing his hobbies with Creed. The twins take piano lessons as well.
