Second skin mode

It's a perfect opportunity to twist this fanservice around and write something about one of their ability.
Second skin.
You noticed that many of the homunculi have that black clothing that's skin tight just like those clothes deep-sea divers have, or overalls.
It's their "natural" clothing, which is called second skin.
They can adjust it to any shape whether covering all their body, or a part of their body just like you see with Gary and Sanc right now. While their armor shrinks too, to a size of a collar. They practically never take off their armor, it adjusts itself like the second skin mode. Gary's mask is armor coded, so the beak can shrink too or get longer. And if you take a look at Sanc's ears you'll see his mask breaks in two parts, shrinks and relocates itself behind the "ear".
It may look weird at first but this stuff is pretty handy.
