Monsieur Loyal

Nobody knows how it really started, nor nobody knows when exactly.
Rumors started to spread about a mysterious entity, haunting abandoned places. But not just any places. Abandoned amusement parks, or places where a circus usually used to be.
Those who dared to go to those places late at night and managed to come back were speaking about a mysterious crazy man in a ringmaster attire, playing cruel games with them.
People called him Rene Lunatique, the "Monsieur Loyal" which means "the ringmaster". Some assume Rene was probably a real ringmaster at some point, and might have died by some accident. Maybe even one of those who died in a fire on the burning stage. But these were just assumptions.
What people know for sure, is that Rene seeks for entertainment, a macabre amusement based on ones deepest fears. It's like he'd look deep into your soul and see your phobias, and then create a stage which will force you to take on your fears. If you manage to overcome it, and survive somehow, you're free to go and tell the story. If you happen to fail, you are  damned to stay by Rene's side as his little macabre minion, your soul stuffed into a ragdoll or what was left over from a plushie from an amusement park booth.
Survivors speak of being haunted by Rene's laugh which you can also hear passing by the abandoned parks.

My creepypasta attempt, I hope you like it.

What Rene really want is to keep the abandoned places "alive" with their purpose of entertaining people. He's also bored and seeks for action too. He loves to see people break under pressure of a phobia. He doesn't treat his minions well. The cane he has storages the victims souls. When he finds a raggy plushie he'll stuff it with a soul from his cane. Rene doesn't befriend people nor the minions. He demands absolute obedience from them. He's also a very moody person.
