In case of art block...

...try this prompt kit.
I'll put some random ideas here, which you can either use to deal with art block or boredom, or just for practice purposes.
1. Draw a character from the back.
Useful when you tend to always draw them in static poses facing front.
2. Give your character a twin/clone with the opposite personality.
Good to explore different personality sides of your OC, like for example what if they were mean if they're usually a cinnamon roll.
3. Try out different colors based on the time of the day.
Everything looks different in the evening or in the moonlight, rather than the usual daylight. Try to experiment with contrast and saturation.
4. Face expression memes.
Never fails.
5. Draw your character sleeping.
Make use of the fact if they have weird sleeping habits.
6. Draw food on a plate.
Google "anime food" to know what I mean. Happy drool- I mean, happy drawing!
7. Draw a plant.
Go wild and create your own plants. Even if it's a 10 foot tall cactus tree with 5 inch spikes.
8. Draw a jewel/jewelry.
If you feel up to the challenge, try to draw a realistic diamond.
9. Imagine your character just got a pet chicken. What is their reaction?
An excuse to draw interactions with a chicken. Because we all need a break from cats/dogs.
10. If your character would be a tarot card/regular card, which one would they be?
Draw them as a card. An excuse to try some vintage/noir/minimalist/aesthetic illustrations.
11. Draw a landscape/cityscape.
Good for practicing backgrounds.
12. Draw the same object 10 times from every possible angle.
Good for practicing objects you have trouble with + perspective and angle.
13. Digital art: Try out that one brush you never use.
Try to draw something with it. Even if it feels like it's impossible to draw with it.
15. Draw the squad memes
Those are always fun.
16. Hair physics!
Draw your character with: wet hair, bed hair, static hair, bad hair day, etc.

Boss Design: Contest results

Before I announce the winner, I wanted to thank everyone who decided to enter, and those who considered to enter (but couldn't do it for various reasons), and a "don't worry, I have an idea" to those who didn't win or couldn't post the entry on time.
I'm a weak person and always want everyone to be happy, and make up for the loss (´°ω°`)

Now for a small explanation, the decision was really hard as the other designs were cool too, seriously, it took me so long to pick that one perfect Boss! I had to take a lot of things under consideration to narrow it down. I can list some of the most important resons for my final decision: (SAB spoilers ahead)
- personal feelings and drawing style weren't playing any role in my judging. I went for the system that would benefit the SAB story the most.
- Mercuria is Boss' lover, so I started from that part. She has quite some standards if it comes to dating... so she was a big help in the process of choosing few of the candidates. It felt a bit like me playing the matchmaker, lol.
- Jun doesn't suspect the Boss for killing Sigma, not until he reads Sigma's chat logs and draws his conclusions. So I looked into who might be the least suspicious to him, and play the "devil in disguide" role to deceive Jun.
- I took the Boss vs Sigma relationship under consideration too, and how they went from friends to foes. Pondered about the relationship with other chiefs from Bio and Tech department too. How his department would see him. How the Wraiths would treat him.
- I also looked a lot into the info you guys provided me, when you presented your works. The included research and bits about Boss' details were really helpful.
In the story, the Boss has a team of trusted scientists from not only his department but other fields too, to help him with a secret project. Not even Mercuria would have any idea about what's going on. I can't say anything more, because it would spoil the finale, but it has something to do with a Homunculus that's created outside the serial line.
I would like to ask the other contestants, if I can use your designs to assemble the Boss' secret project team?
You will be credited and your design will appear in the comic.
With the only exception that they will appear less than the Boss himself. Like a cameo appearance. But definitely more than once.
I don't want to do it without your permission, so please let me know. Even if you disagree, please let me know.
